How do I know if I lack exercise?
1. Muscle pain
You know that feeling where your body just hurts everywhere after you run a few blocks or carried a few boxes? Injuries aside that kind of muscle pain can be associated with lack of exercise. Lack of exercise means lack of muscle growth and movement and this translates to having a weaker body that is easily burdened or bruised by light activity.
2. Lack of enthusiasm
Truth be told those who exercise have more things to look forward to than those who don't since even when they have absolutely nothing to do they still have a little workout schedule to complete. Beyond the check list, we mentioned how stress builds up faster on people who lack exercise and this could lead to increasing bouts of depression or low mood.
3. Shortness of breath
Have you ever dreaded climbing the stairs for fear of having a heart attack when you reach the top? Exercise will do your heart and lungs good as well as the muscles you use to travel and no exercise will make everyday things seem harder to do.
4. Prone to illnesses
Do you often find yourself wanting to take call in sick for work more than you're used to? That may be a sign of a weakened immune system which could be a result of not exercising at all.
