The midlife transition plunges one into the subconscious. Often an external crisis sets off this arduous journey. Also called Liminality, from ‘limen’ – threshold – one finds oneself indeed perched on a precarious existential threshold, almost paralysed in not-knowing and identity confusion.

A most precious time, whereby, possibly for the first time, you are given the opportunity to get to know who you really are.
